Underage
Drinking- helping to reduce the sale of alcohol to minors, increasing
the age at which minors begin drinking, and decreasing the amount
of binge drinking.
Rush Center Training for the faith community*
Al's Pals Training for pre-school teachers representing the Turner
School District, EOF Headstart and Uncle Sam's Academy.Initial training
was held in 2005 and has been held every year since.
Drug Endangered Children - Children living in houses where drugs
are being used or manufactured face different dangers than "children
in need of care" (CINC). These dangers and a design for treatment
is being outlined in a DEC protocol.
Grassroots Leadership Training - On-going monthly workshops that
teach strategies designed to empower neighborhood residents to resolve
problems and to promote a safe, clean and caring environment.
